My Portfolio

This is my portfolio of different media I have produced or been a part off

Website development

This site and the site it was built on was hand coded in HTML, CSS and Bootstrap 2.4.1 . Originally, it was in W3.CSS but this is no longer a part of the site. There are are JavaScript elements.

I also developed the site CATE UK ( https://www.cateuk.org.uk ) and know how to use WordPress as this is what the site was built on. Also through this I have experience with Google Search Console.

Social Media Management

As part of CATE UK I have produced many social media posts. I also have experience using Facebook Business suite. Here are some examples of my work:

A cartoon outline of a yellow labrador face with a red nose with a white cross in it on a red background. In white bold text it says 'you wouldn't distract a paramedic. Don't distract assistance dogs' and underneath that in a white banner it says 'assistance dogs save lives' with the CATE UK logo to the right An A3 poster with a light blue background of a cartoon black labrador guide dog on an escalator. There is a person in a purple dress and black trousers holding the dogs handle. To the left, there are white boxes with black text which reads 'Your impatience. My job. Their Independence.' From the dogs perspective. Underneath, in a purple text box in white text it reads 'Don't push past assistance dogs on escalators. It could cost them their job and someone's independence'. At the bottom there is a white bar with the navy winking dog CATE UK logo to the right and to the left black text which reads 'Assistance dogs save lives' On a dark blue background it says 'No ID, No Access' and on a black rectangle in white text it says 'Not Legal' to the right there is a simple cartoon yellow ID booklet. Underneath in white text it states 'You can not deny access to an assistance dog partnership just because they don't possess ID' There is a big blue vest with a medium sized yellow vest on top of it and a small purple vest on top of that. To the right it says in white text Big, Small, They can be all. Assistance Dogs can be any breed* *that is legal to own. It is an cartoony style on a red background On a light grey-ish background it says 'Not all assistance dogs are guide dogs, but all guide dogs are assistance dogs'. There is a venn diagram with one small white circle which is labelled 'guide dogs' inside a large light green circle labelled 'assistance dogs'

Project Development

I developed a campaign (Give A Dog A Sign) which has accumalated over 150 likes and a successful advocacy project (CATE UK) whose website averages 349 visitors a month.

Advocacy

In 2021,I appeared in the podcast In Another's View in the episode Stand Your Ground!

In October 2022, I spoke at the Hertfordshire Partnership Foundation NHS Trust's Recovery conference talking about how my assistance dog in training was helping me with my disabilities. You can find this talk below

In May 2023, I became a commitee member for the AT/452 BSI committee involved with the development of European Standards for Assistance Dogs.

In June 2023, I was told I had been selected as a National Winner for the BBC Young Reporter Competition 2023 with my entry on owner training my own assistance dog and the lack of awareness around assitance dogs.

Digital Art

Here is a variety of art I have produced

In Spring/Summer 2023 I produced a short animated video for CATE UK. This was created using Audacity, Krita, and DaVinci Resolve.

I have also created a variety of logos either for personal use or by specification asked of by the client

A stylised navy cartoon dog face which is winking and has a diploma and graduation cap A hanging sign of a silhouette of a dog wearing a vest with a green tick coming from it and words coming from it saying 'Give A Dog A Sign'. It is the logo for the CATE UK campaign A large brown cartoon beorbel wearing a burgundyassistance dog harness. There is a stack of books to the right of him and he is on a dark green background with the text PAD above him.
